Avante K. Jackson
Avante K. Jackson is a seasoned Class A CDL Driver and dedicated mentor — and the founder of CDL Shorty D4D, LLC, based in Charlotte, NC. With over a decade of experience in the trucking industry, Avante has transformed his expertise into the Drivers 4 Drivers (D4D) Peer Mentorship Program, offering one-on-one CDL coaching designed to help both new and experienced drivers gain confidence, improve their skills, and succeed.
Avante began his trucking career over 10 years ago, running OTR (Over-the-Road) and Regional routes, gaining hands-on experience in dry van, flatbed, regional, and reefer units. His knowledge expanded during two years training students to obtain their Class A CDL License — providing classroom and field instruction on everything from pre-trip inspections and coupling/uncoupling of combination units to mastering turns, backing, parking, and navigating inner-city and interstate traffic.
Most recently, Avante has turned his focus to mentoring and coaching rookie drivers through peer support mentorship — helping them build confidence, improve techniques, and understand industry best practices.
